The jubilee 30th edition

We are pleased to invite you to participate in this year’s edition of the Warsaw Course on Cardiovascular Interventions (WCCI), one of the most important educational events in the field of interventional cardiology in Poland. The jubilee 30th edition of the Course will take place on April 23–24 in an in-person format, traditionally bringing together leading experts, practitioners, and physicians interested in the latest advances in contemporary cardiology.

WCCI is organized under the auspices of the Polish Cardiac Society and the Association of Cardiovascular Interventions of the Polish Cardiac Society, in collaboration with European partners – the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI) and EuroPCR. Representatives of the Intensive Cardiac Care Association of the Polish Cardiac Society, Club 30 of the Polish Cardiac Society, and the Euro4C EAPCI group are also involved in the preparation of the program, ensuring that the event addresses the current clinical and educational needs of the cardiology community.

The program of this year’s edition focuses on the key challenges of modern interventional cardiology. The main topics will include coronary artery revascularization, with particular emphasis on the treatment of multivessel coronary artery disease, including cases involving the left main coronary artery, as well as the management of coronary bifurcations. Percutaneous treatment of structural heart diseases will also play an important role, including interventions involving the aortic, mitral, and tricuspid valves.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend numerous sessions devoted to advanced imaging and functional diagnostics, as well as panels addressing interventions in carotid and peripheral arteries. As in previous years, the program will also feature sessions at the intersection of intensive cardiac care and interventional cardiology, which have long been highly appreciated by participants.

An integral part of the program will also include the highly valued training mini-workshops:
• WARSAW CHIP – dedicated to complex high-risk interventional procedures,
• WARSAW CTO – designed for operators developing their skills in the recanalization of chronic total coronary occlusions.

A hallmark of WCCI remains live case transmissions from renowned centers in Poland and abroad, allowing participants to follow the most advanced procedures in real time. The program will also be complemented by “live-in-a-box” presentations as well as satellite sessions organized by partners and sponsors of the Course, showcasing the latest technologies and solutions in interventional cardiology.

This year’s edition of WCCI offers a unique opportunity to exchange experience, gain practical knowledge, and explore the latest trends in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. We warmly invite you to take part in this prestigious event.
